I believe in being straightforward — about training, about food, and about how this website works. This page covers all of it in plain language. Effective date: 1 June 2026. Last updated: 1 June 2026.

Who I am not

I am not a doctor, physiotherapist, registered dietitian, psychologist, or licensed healthcare provider of any kind. Nothing here should be treated as medical advice.

This is education, not medical advice

Everything on this site — articles, newsletters, videos, programs, and anything I say in a coaching session — is general information and education. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, or substitute for care from a qualified health professional, and reading it does not create a client or patient relationship between us.

Before you start any exercise program or change how you eat, talk to your doctor. That goes double if you're managing a health condition, recovering from an injury or surgery, or taking medication. At our age, that's not a formality — it's the smart first step of the plan.

And while you're training: if something causes pain (not effort — pain), stop. Dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath beyond normal exertion — stop and get medical help.

You train at your own risk

Exercise has inherent risks, even when done carefully. By using the workouts, programs, and suggestions on this site, you accept those risks and agree that you're responsible for exercising within your own limits. I build modifications into everything for a reason — use them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primetime Eric and Eric Leblanc are not liable for injuries or losses arising from your use of this site's content.

Results vary

I'll never promise you a transformation in 30 days — that's not how this works, and it's not how I work. Any results I describe, my own or a client's, are individual experiences, not guarantees. Your results depend on your starting point, consistency, health, and a dozen things neither of us controls.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Two commitments on this: I only recommend things I'd use or have used myself, and a commission never changes my opinion.

There currently isn't any. If that ever changes, sponsored posts and ads will be clearly labelled as such — no exceptions.

One-on-one coaching, memberships, and digital products are paid offerings. Payments are processed by Stripe; I never see or store your card details. Booking runs through a scheduling provider, Calendly. Refund terms are stated at the point of purchase. Coaching is training guidance, not healthcare — the medical disclaimer above applies there too.

Privacy — what I collect and why

I collect as little as possible:

  • Email subscription: your name and email address, so I can send you the newsletter and site updates. Handled by Ghost, the platform this site runs on.
  • Paid memberships/purchases: billing details handled by Stripe.
  • Bookings: the name, email, and scheduling details you provide when you book a session.
  • Messages you send me: whatever you choose to include.

I use this information to run the site and deliver what you signed up for. I will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. I share it only with the service providers that make the site work (listed below), and only as needed to do that.

You can unsubscribe from any email instantly using the link at the bottom of it, and you can ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you — email eric@primetimeeric.com.

This site operates from Canada and follows Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and anti-spam law (CASL): you'll only get email from me because you asked for it, and every message includes a working unsubscribe. Some of the providers below store data outside Canada (typically the US or EU); by using the site you consent to that processing.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses a small number of cookies to make memberships work — for example, keeping you signed in. I also look at basic, aggregate analytics (page views, popular posts, where visitors come from) to understand what's useful to you, using Ghost's built-in analytics and Google Analytics. I don't use this data to identify individual readers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will mostly work fine without them, though sign-in features won't.

Third-party services this site relies on

  • Ghost — website hosting, publishing, and email delivery
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Calendly — session booking
  • YouTube — embedded video
  • Amazon and other affiliate partners — outbound shopping links

Each has its own privacy policy that governs your data once it's in their hands.

I link out to research, products, and other sites I think are worth your time. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

Not for kids

This site is intended for adults. It isn't directed at anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from minors.

My content

Articles, programs, photos, and videos on this site are © Primetime Eric / Eric Leblanc. You're welcome to share links and use the content personally; please don't republish or resell it without asking.

Keeping information current

I do my best to keep everything accurate and up to date, but fitness and nutrition research evolves, and so do I. Older posts may reflect older thinking. When I substantially change a recommendation, I'll say so.

Changes to this page

If these policies change, I'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes to how I handle your data will be flagged in the newsletter.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask me: eric@primetimeeric.com. Plain questions get plain answers — that's the house style.
